Love french fries but hate seed oils? This seed oil free french fry recipe is for you! Learn how to make seed oil free french fries at home in just a few steps. The best part? No seed oils.
Cut your potatoes into 1/2 inch thick pieces. This french fry cutter makes it much faster and easier.
If you want your seed oil free french fries to be extra crispy, soak them in cold water for at least an hour. You can also leave them in a bowl of water in the fridge overnight.
Rinse your potatoes with fresh water and pat them dry.
We recommend frying your french fries in avocado oil or grass fed beef tallow. Both avocado oil and grass fed beef tallow are great seed oil free cooking oils and can reach the high heat needed to fry these french fries.
Make sure the oil or tallow is hot before adding the potatoes or they'll soak up too much and become soggy.
Put your potato slices in the hot avocado oil and fry them for about 5 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon or other utensil to pull your fries from the oil. Place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil, and sprinkle salt on them.
Enjoy your french fries made with no seed oils!
